You hear it faintly at times,
You prefer keeping it faint.

You hear it loud and clear at times,
You wonder what others will say.

You hear it all the time,
You brush it away.

You hear it when you wonder what you are thinking,
You ignore it.

You hear it when you wonder what you should be doing with your life,
You pay no heed.

You ask others, you ask your friends, and you ask your family.
Sometimes you listen to other’s voice,
Sometimes you want to hear it from others,
You want others to tell you what to do, comforting and sure about the results,
Because they had already experienced it.

You want to play safe,
So you mute that voice, your inner voice.
